Today, in the United States, many of us are enjoying the day off from work, having celebrated Thanksgiving Day yesterday with friends and family. Traditionally, Thanksgiving is a day to express gratitude for the people, opportunities, and blessings we have in our lives.
This year, given the state of our world, it may be more challenging to express gratitude for all we have and increasingly difficult to reconcile our gratitude and blessings in the face of current global humanitarian atrocities.
If your emotions feel particularly heavy right now, please know you are not alone. Continue to share your gifts and receive, with gratitude, the gifts of others. Together, when we appreciate our unique gifts, similarities, and differences, we become a stronger collective.
I am grateful you allow me to be part of your world each Friday.
I am thankful for the privilege of your support.
I am blessed to be able to work with so many incredible individuals.
If there is someone who may need a special message of support and gratitude today, pay this message forward and share your gift with them.
