All month long, we’ve been exploring the Art of Working Together. We’ve talked about communication, strategies, “we-dership”, and the courage it takes to show up as a genuine partner rather than just a participant.

And now, for our final Friday of June, I want to turn that same lens on us. You and me.

Something I don’t talk about often – I have been in business since 2011. Fifteen years! And in all that time, through every workshop, every coaching engagement, every keynote, every webinar, every late-night email exchange with trusted clients, I never took the time to set up my own Google Business Profile.

I know. I know. Where have I been? (Working! I’ve been working!)

I have spent fifteen years helping leaders build credibility, show up with intention, and remove the barriers between themselves and the people they serve. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to me, but certainly not my marketing partner, I have essentially been invisible to anyone who searched for me on Google. She tells me, “Google’s a thing”….maybe you’ve heard of it. 🤦🏻‍♀️

So that changes now. Growing is uncomfortable, and here I am being uncomfortable.

I’ve officially set up my Google Business Profile, and here’s where the Art of Working Together comes in for me. I need your help.

If we’ve ever worked together in any capacity – if you attended one of my workshops, attended any of the conference sessions I facilitated, participated in a virtual webinar, have coached with me, enjoyed these Thought Partners, etc… could you please take two or three minutes to leave me a brief Google review?

You don’t have to write a dissertation. (Though I’d never turn one down.) Even just two or three sentences about your experience interacting with me would mean the world to me.

I’m told our life now is all about SEO, numbers, algorithms, blah, blah, blah, and all things that give me heartburn to think about, but here’s what I would much rather think about instead…your help will help other leaders who are searching for what I offer to find their way to me, and that, at its core, is working together.

I would be honored if you took a few minutes to click this link:  Leave a Review for SBJ Consulting, Inc.

I am deeply grateful for every person who has trusted me with their leadership journey and their Fridays. Asking for something in return doesn’t come naturally to me, but I’ve coached enough folks through the discomfort of self-advocacy to know I need to practice what I preach.

So there it is. This month, we talked about what it means to work well together.

Thank you for reading every Friday. Thank you for the conversations these posts have sparked. And thank you in advance for helping me show up in a few more search results.

Here’s to finishing June strong, together.
