With our ongoing theme of Building and Empowering Teams, today I’ll help you multiply your impact as a leader by sharing one small shift to your inquiry skills.

Most leaders try to multiply impact by adding more.
More strategy.
More pressure.
More talking.

But quietly, the best leaders subtract.

They remove friction.
They replace certainty with curiosity.
They trade control for ownership.
They stop polishing explanations and start creating movement.

Multiplier leaders aren’t louder. They’re more intentional.

One small shift I’ve been sitting with this week is, when something isn’t working, resist the urge to diagnose it out loud.

Instead of diagnosing an issue out loud, ask a better question.

Not: “Why is this broken?”
But: “How might we make this better?”

Did you catch the subtle shift?

Not WHY. But HOW.

How moves people from defending the existing to designing a forward path.

Your FRIDAY SHIFT today is:

1. Pick one interaction and replace your instinct to ask or explain (using WHY) with a HOW question.

2. Then take note of what happens, how people react, and where you can go from there.

(If nothing else, you’ll learn who on your team has been waiting to THINK with you… not just LISTEN to you.)
